Chameleon

What is it?
Chameleon™ Middleware is the economic and powerful software solution for your laboratory. Not only can it perform LIS functions, such as interfacing analyzers, consolidating patient reports, QC management, patient demographics and results storage, but it also delivers a seamless interface to your practice’s EMR software. If you do not have an EMR, then the Chameleon™ Middleware can interface to your LIS, eliminating the need to purchase additional interfaces from your LIS vendor. In addition, Chameleon™ Middleware is fully HIPAA compliant by enforcing log-in access with four layers of security.

How do I get it?
Chameleon™ Middleware is only available with the purchase of an Envoy® 500 Chemistry Analyzer or the Excyte® ESR Analyzers.

To learn more, contact your distributor or Vital Diagnostics at 1-800-345-2822 or email USsales@vitaldiagnostics.com and ask to speak to the Account Executive in your area.

What is Included?
The standard Chameleon™ Middleware software includes:

  • 6 analyzer interfaces
  • HL7 EMR interface
  • Computer, monitor, printer, external hard drive, and label printer
  • Installation and training (typically 3-5 days)
  • 1 year warranty with unlimited telephone tech support and field service calls, if needed.
